AVIDYNE R9 TRANSITION
The
Avidyne Release 9 is unquestionably easy to use, but before launching into an IFR environment, a thorough understanding of
the systems and differences from previously learned avionics is critical.
ANFST, Avidyne
National Flight Standards Team, was created to include professional and experienced flight instructors who really know the
Avidyne avionics and the IFR environment. Information about the ANFST team can be read
here.
Transition training times are 1 day for a VFR pilot with a recommended 1/2 day refresher
in 30-60 days; 2-3 days for an IFR pilot with a recommended 1/2-2 day refresher in 30-60 days.
