WHAT IT DOESN'T DO

If you've flown the SimTrain full motion SIM, you've been in a high end SIM which is absolutely fantastic.  However, it is also expensive (to operate and rent).  The SimTrain has the actual cockpit and avionics.  The Redbird is fully simulated.  What that means is that not all the functions of the avionics are available.  The Redbird SIM will allow you to do all the basic functions and practice procedures and emergencies at about half the price!  You'll find it's an excellent training platform and fun.

Regarding CAPS--no, it doesn't have a CAPS handle (yet) but we will practice CAPS pull scenarios and "go for the handle" 

CIRRUS PERSPECTIVE OWNERS

PERSPECTIVE NOT YET AVAILABLE, BUT REDBIRD IS WORKING ON IT.  EXPECTING WINTER 2011. But you can fly the G1000 for a "similar" experience. 

AVIDYNE R9 OWNERS
